There were speculations that OnePlus will also unveil an upgraded version of OnePlus Nord along with its recent flagships OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 9R. The alleged smartphone called OnePlus Nord SE (Special Edition) is now reported to have got permanently shelved.
