PC shipments in mainland China saw a 24% YoY decline in Q1 2023 to 8.9 million units, according to Canalys data. Demand for small and midsize businesses was particularly weak, while desktop and notebook shipments dropped 28% to 2.8 million units, and 22% to 6.1 million units respectively. Lenovo maintained the top spot, but had a 24% decline, while Huawei ranked second and saw a 34% growth in PC shipments to almost 1 million units.
