A new variant of the RustBucket malware, specifically targeting macOS systems, has been discovered by security researchers. Developed by the North Korea-based APT group BlueNoroff, this malware uses various techniques such as phishing emails and drive-by downloads to compromise its targets. Once infected, the malware communicates with command and control servers to download and execute payloads, often undetected by antivirus scanners.
