Google has introduced a new editing tool called Magic Editor for its Pixel 8 phone that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to make complex edits to photos. However, there are limitations to the tool, including not allowing edits to images with ID cards, receipts, or personally identifiable information, and not modifying human faces or body parts. The tool also cannot work on large areas of a photo that require a lot of data. Google is also working on a new feature called "prompt-based editing" that would allow users to move objects and people in an image via text prompts.
