LinkedIn, owned by Microsoft, is laying off 668 employees in its second round of job cuts this year. The total number of job cuts at LinkedIn now stands at 1,384. The layoffs will affect various departments including engineering, product, talent, and finance. Despite the job cuts, LinkedIn stated that they are investing in strategic priorities and will provide full support to affected employees. Microsoft has also cut around 10,000 jobs this year, and LinkedIn is reportedly increasing hiring in India.
