Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India's largest IT company, has made 5 days working from the office compulsory for employees, stating that it is necessary for them to internalize the company's values. TCS reported a 9% YoY growth in consolidated net profit and an 8% YoY growth in consolidated revenue for the second quarter. However, the company's headcount fell by 6,393 employees in Q2, although it clarified that this is not related to business demand. TCS will pay 100% of variable pay for 70% of the workforce, while the remaining will be based on business unit performance.
