The SEC complained that Musk received a subpoena but refused to appear for testimony, raising objections to the location. The SEC is now asking the court to order Musk to testify. The subpoena is related to an ongoing investigation into whether Musk violated securities laws while buying the micro-blogging platform. This is not the only legal fight between Musk and the SEC.
