Apple is reportedly planning to transition all its accessories to USB-C, starting with the next iMac. The shift could happen as early as next month. Mark Gurman of Bloomberg also predicts that the AirPods will be updated in 2024 with a USB-C charging case, and the next AirPods Max will incorporate a USB-C port. In addition, the MagSafe Battery Pack and MagSafe Duo Charger accessories are expected to return with USB-C ports. Apple has several other plans in the works, including the introduction of the Vision Pro headset, a redesigned Apple Watch, and the first iPad Pro redesign in five years. They are also transitioning to M3 chips on 3-nanometer technology for improved performance on Macs, and planning to enter the generative AI race in 2024.
