Complaints have been made about the compatibility of USB-A to USB-C cables, with some not working properly in certain vehicles. Belkin's BoostCharge USB-A to USB-C cable was successful for some users, but not for others. Trying various cables from known brands with data transfer support seemed to be the best solution for some users. Apple is said to be working on a fix for the problem.
