Google is introducing sustainability APIs that use AI to provide real-time data on solar potential, air quality, and pollen levels. The company aims to help individuals, cities, and partners reduce their carbon emissions by 1 gigaton annually by 2030. The Solar API expands on Google's Project Sunroof, covering 320 million buildings across 40 countries. The Air Quality layer is now available in over 100 countries, while the Pollen API monitors pollen release in over 65 countries. These APIs will be available to developers from August 29th.
