Microsoft will close the Xbox 360 online store and marketplace on July 29, 2024, as the company is entirely focusing on the development of new-generation gaming consoles and the Game Pass subscription. Users will no longer be able to purchase new games, DLC, and entertainment content from the Xbox 360 Store and the Microsoft Movies & TV app will no longer function on Xbox 360.
