Google has introduced end-to-end encryption for all RCS (Rich Communication Services) conversations, including group chats, in Messages by Google. This encryption will be enabled by default for new and existing users, making their messages private from Google and carriers. Google is trying to compete with Apple’s iMessage by bringing end-to-end encryption to its messaging services.
