India's Ministry of Education has selected Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to migrate its national education technology platform, the 'Digital Infrastructure for Knowledge Sharing' (DIKSHA), to the cloud. This is expected to simplify access to DIKSHA and reduce IT costs. DIKSHA, a school education and foundational learning programme, supports 1.5 million schools across India’s 35 states and is available in 36 languages serving more than 200 million students. OCI will support the Indian government in providing educational resources to millions more learners and teachers nationwide, through a new migration deal.
